What a Gas Safe service includes

Combi vs system vs regular

How much does a boiler service cost?+

Standalone services and combined service + CP12 jobs are quoted on the call. Multi-property landlord packages are quoted on portfolio size.

How long does a boiler service take?+

A standard service takes 45–60 minutes. Older or heavily sooted boilers may take longer if extra cleaning is required, we'll tell you on the day.

Will a service really keep my warranty valid?+

Yes. Worcester, Vaillant, Ideal and Baxi all require evidence of annual servicing by a Gas Safe engineer to enforce their warranty. Without it, claims are routinely refused.

Do you service boilers you didn't install?+

Yes. We service every major UK gas boiler brand whether we originally installed it or not.

Can I book a service quickly?+

Often, yes. We aim to respond as soon as possible across Oldham and the surrounding boroughs.

What if you find a fault?+

We pause, explain the issue, give you a written price, and let you decide. Service fee is never bundled with repair charges.

Is a service the same as a Gas Safety Certificate?+

No, they're separate jobs, but we can carry out both on the same visit for landlords. The CP12 is the legal landlord document; the service keeps the warranty valid.

What time of year should I book?+

Late summer or early autumn, before the heating demand returns. Booking in October–November means waiting times and emergency callout risk go up sharply.
